I was a little disappointed when I saw the first released photos of Doc Ock...but that trailer has made me very pleased with him

It's Spidey...and it looks just as fun as the first!

I think if you keep the same actors, that a Super Hero Sequel can easily be better or just as good. From an action standpoint... everything is established for viewers by the second film, so you can jump right in and embellish or dwell deeper into your main characters while upping the ante on villians and tragic events. I think Superman II is a good example of a "just as good if not better" sequel to the first.

I have really liked the look that they are taking Doc Ock compared to the original Ock in the comics. I was afraid in film one when I saw the new green goblin, but I soon realized the movie dwelled on the psycological aspects of going insane, so the suit no longer became the focus (although the suit did transfer better into more practical means). I have little doubts going into 2 that Ock will come through as an awesome adversary.

Spider-man is almost Indiana Jones in the sense that despite how good he is, his villians always have quite a few hands up on him, but they ultimately lose in the end.

from what i have read.... and thats a lot ... about this kick @ ss movie, it should do a HELLUVA lot better than the first.

Not only does Peter have to struggle with the villians he faces as spiderman, but has to balance his two different lives. Very interesting IMO!!!!!!!

I take it you have never seen Smallville. Watch it a few times and you will see why it is never a good idea to get with the girl. Only difference is that Spidy is not an alien....
