If they're like my oldest, they'll eat a LOT! LOL! I've budgeted for my boys the same amount as we would spend for us to eat per day since they were 12. Just use the food budget you do for yourself. Spending money. That depends. Have they been before? Do you think they'll get into pintrading or Vinylmations? Used to we'd give our boys gift cards with anywhere from $200 - $300 for souvenir spending. Over the years they've been so much and the merchandise changed so little (or not for the better) to where they don't really want a whole lot anymore. Last trip my oldest spent his money on a pair of Oakley sunglasses (not a souvenir). The trip before that he got a WDW golf bag for his clubs. Our youngest (now 13) still does enjoy role-play type stuff. He'll spend his money bit at a time on pirate weapons, safari gear, pins, and the occasional Vinylmation. He comes home with loads of trinkets while his brother comes home with just 1 big thing. The spending money depends on the kids really. I've never really broken it down into how much per day because we have longer trips. I just give them a flat amount and they have to budget accordingly. When the money is gone, it's gone. The end.
