Speedway Update??

I have always thought that they should get electric cars, and then retheme the entire thing to Cars. Like theme it after Lightning's first race, but get all the Cars characters in there. Even have a Mater car that you could drive. And the the speedway could be decorated after scenes from the movie. Just my idea. :shrug:

Agreed...I dont think the future is going to be impacted by Pixar as much as TL is already reflecting.

It just doesn't fit. But if it were anywhere else, it would work.


Can we just kill the entire thing? The plot of land is huge, and could really be used for so much!

Couldn't you just make the cars Mag-Lev and have them levitate around the track? That would be the future.

It's pretty much always packed, kids love it (dare I say some of the adult as well)...............................
Does it need an update; perhaps, but it still functions as designed.

I believe that the Tomorrowland Speedway needs to go. It's smelly, it's not that good of a ride and it never really fit in Tomorrowland. I'd say after Fantasyland is done, demo the Speedway and use the land for a large scale Tomorrowland Expansion, complete with at least one major E-Ticket and possibly a fancy, Fantasy Forrest style meet and greet for Buzz Lightyear.

Yes Disney should go super green. So much that if you fly on or drive/ride in a fossil fuel powered vehicle, you are not allowed to go to any Disney park.

Sounds like elitists here. It is so easy to say "someone" else should have to be forced to change. If you do not like the smell of burnt fossil fuels, stop using them yourself.
