joefox97, I think you hit the nail on the head with that one. It's excellent. It would still mean so much and fit very well even if Charley didn't touch FL because we know how much damage they have done in the past. With Charley, it touched more than those in the area but people all around the country. We united as one again. I love the touch of "We Go On" as it is one of my favorite songs ever and goes PERFECTLY to this contest. I can't praise that picture enough.

Of course all the others are excellent and this is going to be one HARD contest and very close. I can't wait to see the poll after it's closed.

Thanks all. No, it is not Sideshow Bob (although now that you mention it he does bear strong resemblance . . .), he is just a character for a movie I want to make. The problem is, I haven't really got a story for it. I'm terrible at writing stories, although I wish I could.
Anyway, thanks. Figment1986, I haven't seen your work, but I'm sure it's great, and even if you don't think so, if you like doing this stuff then go ahead. You don't have to win to like something. Anyway, If you decide to make an entry, Monday's the due date (Thanks again DCA Fan!)!

Thanks for the kind words. Charley's power was awesome, and its effect was almost palpable... and like you said, it didn't just affect Florida -- with the ever-shrinking world (thanks to the Internet and other stuff), we all watched in real time (and some of us chatted online with friends who were in the midst of the storm) as the worst storm in over a decade wrought its fury. It was a terrible thing, but it also brought us together again, and it was great to see some of the things that different companies and people did for one another, Disney included (see the thread in Disney Park News called "Good News" for more on that). The "We Go On" concept came to me as soon as I saw the topic... I LOVE RoE, and it just fit.

Thanks again... the entries are all quite excellent. The judging will be close!
