Special "Christmas-y" things to do in Dec?

Hey,
If this a repeat of another thread, feel free to point me in that direction. We will be in WDW for the first December visit this year, and I am looking for a resource that lists the special "Christmas" things to do in WDW during the holidays.

Some examples that I've seen include:

Candlelight Processional at Epcot
Gingerbread houses at GF (is this the really BIG gingerbread houses I've seen pics of here?)

what are some more things? (the less obvious/advertised things like the gingerbread houses would be great info, but you could even mention more well-known things--not EVERYONE knows them).
It would be a great resource for me--and hopefully other December-goers--to have a sort of central list of special Christmas things at WDW...

Again, if this is basically a duplicate of some other thread or something, please accept my apology and point me in the right direction.

I think it has been mentioned in here before. Maybe search for the things to do. Candlelight Processional is beautiful as well as the Tree Lighting cereomony there. Also in EPCOT are story tellers in each country telling about the winter celebrations of that country.

Yes the GF Gingerbread House is the huge one. There are houses at all the deluxe resorts. I don't know the date all of them are on display but those are fune to look at. And just the decorations at all the resorts are fun to look at.

DAK- The parade becomes mickey's jammin jungle parade. There are decorations and characters are out in the holiday outfits.

MK- Castle lighting show. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

DHS- Spectacle of Dancing Lights is awesome. Some time in Dec I believe the Harlem Gospel choir was there.

I think that's the list of everything. Have fun in the World for the holidays! I was on my CP last year and after coming home and watching a tape of Holidays at the World my mom and I decided that we needed to go back this year!:xmas:

Everything the poster above me said, but there is also "Holidays Around the World" at Epcot, which is (in my opinion) very enjoyable. Storytellers tell holiday tales in each of the countries. I had a blast when I went with my friend last year :D

EDIT: I just noticed that Holidays Around the World was included, haha! Oops!

Last year, a house was in front of the World of Disney store at Downtown Disney where you could meet Santa. I'm thinking it'll be there again this year.

Yup covered that. lol. I have a scrapbook from my program that all but 2 pages are of December only! It was a crazy but busy month!!

O yea I forgot to tell where Santa is! yup at DTD, MK the side street by uptown Jewlers on Main Street, EPCOT in the American Adventure and Mrs. Clause was around also. Papa Noel and Father Christmas (sorta Santa right?) were in France and the UK as part of Holidays around the world. For all of the Holidays around the World I found the day I walked around you could take a picture with the story tellers after the story.

Something we stumbled upon was that there was a quartet of carolers dressed in old english clothing in the downtown Disney area. I am not sure if they are there all the time or not. I want to say we were there early evening. They took request and did not limit themselves to "Santa" songs but also traditional religious songs as well. They were great.

Sleigh ride at the Wilderness Lodge, not sure how a sleigh works in FL but sounds like fun. What about taking a ride on the Monorail to some resorts just to check out the decorations. And lets not forget the Christmas store in DTD.

Hot chocolate on Main Street, Osborne Lights at DHS and looking at every tree in each resort and park were our favorites. Bring a light coat as it does get chilly at night. Christmas in Disney is a crowded but great time of the year to go.:) I miss it!!
