Does anyone have more details on this mockup ride through? I doubt this would be something filmed at WDI since they probably are very strict regarding camcorders. Just trying to learn more about this footage.

They put it in a warehouse before installing it to test out how it would look before installing it. I am not sure why they took a video of it.

I was really little but she definitely spoke! This part of the ride was so cool to me.

Correct. The set pieces were being staged to test how they would look from a guest perspective before being installed into the ride.
New to this thread. Been on Spaceship Earth quite a few times recently in attempts to see some of the hidden details from the previous ride versions, seeing the space station was really cool. I noticed something, and it might not be anything, during the Renaissance scene, on the left hand side before you get into the Sistine Chapel with Michaelangelo there is what looks to me like a Pillar of some sort. It could be something else, maybe from an old version or maybe just up there for storage??

Welcome to the thread. Now I could be wrong, but I don't believe there's a pillar there. It looks like the light that is on the Michelangelo animatronic casted onto the black material on the backdrop. You can even see his shadow covering most of the light. There is nothing there normally.

So I can kinda see what you are saying, but at the same time it looks like a physical structure and not just the backdrop material. Also, from the image you shared the object I'm asking about is out of the frame since it is more to the left. Appreciate the help/info

It's not out of frame, you can see that the "pillar" is in the corner in your pictures, the corner is visible here. The ridges on the "pillar" looks like maybe the material is stretched on on some rigid support structure. The top of the "pillar" is just the curved shadow from the arch of the chapel. Compare these two pictures and their lighting. You can see the "pillar" just disappears.
In this one you can actually see the paintbrush in the figures hand in the shadow on the "pillar".

Isn't it a miniature city that has strands of fiber optics around the buildings and above them? I looked and I can't find any behind the scenes stuff.
