ahhh, ok, now that makes sense. i dont recall the circus first hand..... but at that age, i cant say i recall much except main things.

i think that the fasination with SSE just gets more increased once you see all the things that have gone into the planning that you would have never guessed or thought of. i assume they approached it much like you have said martin... like a regular building that just happens to be a geosphere (or what ever the correct term is for it) and hold an attraction inside that is incredible.

ill have to check tonight after some of the parades to see how Mission:Earth went.

Totally OT (sorry) but it`s 24 Season 5 DVD boxset. Michelle got Season 4 and we enjoyed it so much we HAD to get the next one. After season 3 over here Sky (satellite subscription) hijacked the series and stole it off free-to-air for their service. I swear, Murdoch has ruined UK television. Both production and broadcasting. IMHO of course.

Uhhh, i actually never believed they were ghosts or spirits and hense why i asked if anyone knew what really causes these orbs to show. I'm not big on taking pictures so i had no clue what would cause it. It was nice to see most people reponded politely to my question though. And if you want to call a 26 year old a kid it's fine with me. Its better than being refered to as old as dirt.

it is a little weird.... like it is about to wrap itself around you and hold you in the depths of outer space for ever awaiting a voice of Hal 3000 to say, "Sorry Joel, but you cant see anymore SSE pics and video". :lookaroun what is creepier, is that i was always waiting for the astronauts to start moving towards me or something. kids imagination is the greatest

Mardi Gras update: while sam and i were down there, a girl caught a 3 foot long Mickey Plushie. she was wasted and sam knew that by nights end, it would probably end up in the gutter..... so, she saw her in the bathroom and said she waited until the girl sat down to P and she contemplated running over there and grabbing it from her and taking off. you gotta love the sacrifice of a potential cat fight to get the husband a mickey doll from mardi gras.

Tonight on SSE, i saw the most bizarre thing. The "virtual classroom" scene had its normal projection, and then under the feet of the characters/chairs/mannequins there was the same image. I'm exactly sure if it was being projected from another place and misaimed, or if it was a reflection, or what.. but it looked so weird, because it lined up with the thing they're standing/sitting ontop of.

Any idea what's up with that?

It did look way too bright/perfect to be a reflection. They'd have to be standing on a mirror.

Either that, or the Barco (or similar) projector is playing up; it would have a true black edge to the optical arrangement to prevent image spill. This could have become missaligned / fallen off (if physical) or the software crashed (if program generated) - thus any overspill not precisely corrected would be visible. It`s possible there is only spill on the bottom - that`s what merf saw.

Or maybe I`m totally wrong

In the mean time, I was looking at the photos from Jeff Lange. There`s no point looking for remains on the floor; it was suspended from above. Jeffs and the flash pic that started this whole topic show structures holding it from above and right; look closer and you`ll see a cord attached to the spacemans leg. There`s more cables too on the flash pic all along the right side of the satellite. It`s a guess it was suspended into the core from somewhere near stairwell 5's door, or perhaps from the core roof structure itself.
