When we went in September, we got the still images emailed okay but the videos attached to all three, was just a generic one with no sound. Very disappointing. Definitely something wrong with it.I just downloaded three "Your Future" videos from the same day. None of them have sound. Has anyone experienced this and found a way around it?
Simply the best!Doesn't help, but interesting. Our vehicle had a Windows screen the entire time and a "Spaceship Earth Vehicle Diagnostics Utility" icon on the desktop. No audio or finale. It was running Windows NT.
Isn't Windows NT way back from 1993? If so there still using the same system from 1993, I wonder if hey still have that old music programmed.Doesn't help, but interesting. The Windows NT name was kept alive until Windows 2000 and continued on as Windows XP through to Windows 10 of today. Windows NT 4 had extended support until 2006. Much to Microsoft's chagrin a lot of people and business stick to what is working for them.Isn't Windows NT way back from 1993? Err the screens - and software - were added in 2007.Isn't Windows NT way back from 1993? If so there still using the same system from 1993, I wonder if hey still have that old music programmed.
Yes, I wish I had a picture. I took a picture of the desktop, but I don't have one from the "Welcome to Windows" screen that clearly said Windows NT when it was re-booting.Isn't Windows NT way back from 1993? I should have asked to re-ride. The same thing happened to us more than once. It makes a big difference in the ride.Yes, I wish I had a picture. I took a picture of the desktop, but I don't have one from the "Welcome to Windows" screen that clearly said Windows NT when it was re-booting.
They let us re-ride, btw.
I work at a recently opened retail store and our tills are running on Windows 2000 and office computers are running XP. It's ridiculous.Err the screens - and software - were added in 2007.
I work for a well known national network television production. I use a mixing desk running XP.I work at a recently opened retail store and our tills are running on Windows 2000 and office computers are running XP. It's ridiculous.
I never feel bad about asking for a re-ride and cast members are always (every time I've asked) as helpful and understanding.I should have asked to re-ride. The same thing happened to us more than once. It makes a big difference in the ride.![]()

I've asked for re-rides on Pirates and Haunted Mansion just because people were taking flash pictures and screaming throughout the first ride.
We've had to do it on Toy Story because of aiming calibration and even Space Mountain because one side had a lot of light leaking into the ride. They let us ride the other side.
Actually, it was because the other side didn't have as much light pollution because it was a small section (I believe from TTA) that had the curtain fall down.[
Because of light leaking through they let you re-ride Space Mountain. I'm sure it was much darker during the second trip LOL.
Hmm, from my understanding those in-vehicle units are generally running Windows XP Embedded, with heavy customizations to remove anything unnecessary — or at least that was supposed to be the case. Maybe it was booted to a special diagnostic partition, or part of their customization of XP Embedded was to strip it down to the old NT GUI components? I'm not entirely sure. Did you see an icon on the desktop labeled vShow? Visionetics vShow is the actual show software.Doesn't help, but interesting. Yeah, it was definitely Windows NT bc my wife and I laughed about it. Not sure if it was Windows NT when it finally got to the desktop (I'm not even sure how that looks) but the boot screen was definitely NT.Hmm, from my understanding those in-vehicle units are generally running Windows XP Embedded, with heavy customizations to remove anything unnecessary — or at least that was supposed to be the case.
