Spaceship Earth Times and Lines

Just a quick question... Are lines for SSE still very long? Or has the hype died down? Hopefully I am thinking they die down in the afternoon.

Just having a little fun, and playing with a EPCOT itinerary...:D;)

On Saturday, June 13th, there was a short line when I got to Epcot around 3. I wouldn't imagine it was any more than 10 minutes. Rode it on the way out at 6 and walked on.

Hey, cool, I finally hit 1000 posts. It only took me 7 and a half years!

When are you going?
I went last fall and it was only 15 minutes around 1 pm.
Trying for Early Aug.:)

OK, hopefully it will be like that here, too.

In my observations, it has been hit or miss. Throughout the day it can be slammed or walk on.

Interesting. Thanks!

Though my last trip was at a fantastic time of year for hours of operation/crowd levels, the 3 times my group did SSE it was pretty much walk on. We knew to avoid it at opening and for a chunk of time after opening to miss the morning arrival crowd. Also, avoided it at actual closing and opted for during ROE (which I know is off the table for your crowd  ).

Exactly.:D

We usually do it as the traditional first ride, but we might want to save it for the afternoon to save time. Open the park with FP's for Soarin' instead.:lol:

On 6/12 at about 10:45AM, the line was posted as being 20 minutes and it took just about that amount of time to get in to the loading area. They were using the queue on both sides of the entrance. We did stand in one place for a minute or so, presumably because the ride was stopped to allow loading or unloading of a handicapped passenger.

The line is never that long. It seems to flux during the day. When you get to it, you get to it. Of course you could just skip it...:lookaroun:lol:

Gotcha. Hopefully it stays like that.
