Am I correct in assuming that the track will pretty much never be changed? I can't image the cost of ripping it out and putting in a coaster for example...
How about if they put in a powered rail? Not fast just as a way to propel the RVsAm I correct in assuming that the track will pretty much never be changed? I can't image the cost of ripping it out and putting in a coaster for example...

First I've heard of PG. Glad it didn't happen too!Well, that was the plan for Project Gemini ... But let's hope that never happens

Fun thing to read up on - would have added a lot more thrills/coasters to Epcot but would have drastically changed the park

Fixed it for youFun thing to read up on - would have added a lot more thrills/coasters to Epcot but would have drastically made the park worse.

Honestly, looking back at Gemini after the park redo we actually got, it doesn't seem so bad. The central plaza still attempts to fit the park, Energy hasn't been removed, Nemo/Little Mermaid are about equally bad, Soarin' replacing the Harvest Theatre instead of the AA show, really the only bad things here are Time Racers and putting an outdoor coaster right in front of The Land.Fun thing to read up on - would have added a lot more thrills/coasters to Epcot but would have drastically changed the park

And ride vehicles capable of pulling off into a separate zone for disabled access so the ride doesn't need to slow/stop 10 times during every ride. How about if they put in a powered rail? Not fast just as a way to propel the RVs
Meanwhile, Figment gets a new sweater each year.
There is a way to do that but the ride would still have to stop for the RV to leave and reenter the main track so it wouldn’t be worth the money it would take to add that feature. And ride vehicles capable of pulling off into a separate zone for disabled access so the ride doesn't need to slow/stop 10 times during every ride.
I am not so sure about how bad it would be to have the coaster in the front of The Land...if it was a rainforest coaster it could be designed with the supports all disguised as trees and forest... Properly designed this would have been fine...the Hedge Maze would have been a nice addition as well as the Jr Autopia at Test track...all predicated on quality design to match the feel of the park... A version of the Tokyo Robot Restaurant would have been a lot of fun... It would be great there or in Tomorrowland. Only part of that plan that I really disliked was the Time Racers attraction replacing Spaceship Earth... the rest is pretty good....certainly better then we got in our Epcot Spine disaster. THere would have been water features and the added kinetics of the Rainforest coaster and the Autopia cars... which would be a lot more engaging than our "Corporate Office Park" central core now.
I think have a roller coaster overhead in the middle of EPCOT (okay, not quite the middle, but one half of Future World) would have been a disaster.
I would of loved an epcot version of the people mover. It can be a transportation method taking you from one side of Epcot to the other. Example Coming from inside The Land to a stop next to entering Mission Space.
Fact Check: True.3) it’s AAs are holding up better than some of their new and improved ones
