Ah, I'd forgotten about the large "Happy Birthday" screens. I was thinking of the "Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi"-style VideoPhone.

I'll echo what others have said--great pictures. I think I need to go watch the Horizons Ultimate Tribute again, now.

Wow guys! You are giving me great ideas for my Spaceship Earth script.:wave: Also I am not so sure what to think about Tom Fitzgerald anymore. I have heard that he is obsessed with Video Screens and partialy responsible for the current Descent. However according to Martins video, he wrote the 1994 Spaceship Earth script' which in my opinion is the best piece of Show Writing ever done by WDI. The 94 script is so good that in my script in some scenes is word for word the 94 script. Im' so confused.

It ain't done yet...And that's writing vs. show design...two different things.;)

Yeah' I think he went power crazy after he was promoted from president of Theme Park Productions to Second-in Command to Marty Sklar to give his old division more work. He was obviously a great Show Writer. I am not sure whether they should get rid of him or not anymore. Also in Martins video it says that the boy with the PC was added in 86' What was there in 82?

I think he just meant a new AA.

Before I forget: The triangles towards the end of Descent had a moving light effect on them. (One would light up, then the other one would, and it'd go down the line) Almost like the fiber optic lighting from the old one. It looked neat, and I think it's proof it ain't over til' it's over.

Well I hope they do something, Spaceship Earth used to be a great attraction and they come thru and made 'changes' and have nearly ruined it. We loved the story that it told and now, it is half history and half nonsense..... :snore:

you sure its not the glow from all the LCD monitors reflecting off the triangles as the cars descend?

:sohappy: That is what I think it is. I watched them yesterday and Saturday and Thursday and I can see the triangles lose the glow as the screens move past and then glow up again as the screens were directly under them.

Still the glowing wasn't happening or wasn't that noticeable months ago...to me at least.
