Why not?
Actually, that happened again last fall, a girl got hit with a gatorade bottle. That's right about the time they installed the blue pouches.

You wouldn't believe the stuff we find at night....i think a hair weave was the craziest..looked like a little poodle fell out of a rocket

One of the disclaimers I saw at Disneyland, and Knott's Berry Farm was a very clever way of saying "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone." California Screamin' had postings that said "Due to the restraints and intensity of this attraction we are unable to accomodate people of certain body sizes and shapes." Maybe that's the "warning".

My friend's friend accidentally let go of a water bottle and it flew back so my friend saw it. He thought it was part of the ride until he found out his friend had lost a water bottle.

The "certain body types" in this case refer to 2 groups:
1. People not meeting the minimum height.
2. People who are...um...to "wide" to fit into the seat/restraint safely and comfortably.

Exactly...It lets them refuse to let people ride based on any of a number of stipulations.

Now...Let me start by saying that I don't promote, condone, or, in any way, suggest what I'm about to tell you but it's a similar story. I used to work Coaster Photo (R'n'RC) and one day I was in the censoring chair. (Sit and look at every picture coming through to find inappropriate ones and I saw one that made me do a double-take. Someone had THROWN their water bottle up and ahead of themselves RIGHT at the moment the camera started snapping. I had a photo of the thrower, three cars with the bottle suspended in the air, and the fourth car when it smacked someone in the face. Gave the poor soul a black eye. Needless to say the thrower was...Spoken to. Plus they shut down so that they could find the bottle and take it out of the launch tunnel. NOT a good day for us.

test dummys

The test dummy lost his head. No live person ever did but sometimes it sure feels like you could hit something, dont it?

Even when tall people are sitting in front of me on the ride, I duck! But I do less so on Space than I do on Thunder. To me, on Space, you can't see as much, and so I don't worry so much that a beam might hit me, but on Thunder, you are constantly going through tunnels and such and I am more prone to d__________g there. Those dino bones that stick out on the right side towards the end of the ride scare me the most!

The story MGMboy told is really bad. I know people do that just to be"cool". More like stuipd jerks. But aside from that SP is fine. No one had gotten cleaved. (We hope)
