Can anyone recall what music was played on Space Mountains exit ramp during the RYCA-1 years?

I might need an mp3 or similar file Marni to make sure what music makers/sentimental journeys sounds like because now I am thinking "we've come so far" instrumental plays on a loop with another song.

Expo loves his Space Mountain music...it would make a neat CD or ipod file. Not to distract from the thread, but honestly now, I don't mind a space mountain refurb, it needs it badly, but can't some of the retroness, the mystery, and the freaking display boxes remain amongst new and updated things whenever space mountaing gets rehabbed. :)

One thing that does bother me about space mountain is that has this odd 1975 and 1994 tomorrowland blending problem.

WDW's space mountain originally was a blue font with bold and circular lettering. You can see only one piece of original signage left, it is the sign you pass on the TTA going into space mountain. This sign also uses space mountain's original slogan " a journey through time and space"., though just recently this quote recieved a cosmetic font update.

But what about the brown and orange and blue, fed ex color scheme that still remains outside, let alone the FX logos that can still be found within the ride. I mean why not bring back a standard red and blue color scheme system that Disneyland did with their 2005 makeover, and can thus better tie in 1975 and the present than the sharp contrast space mountain currently has with 1975 and 1994.

Doing this, and a new postshow, and updating the posters of the nebulas and galaxies, with refreshened, paint, audio, and smooth track, and new rollercoaster effects, could create an excellent blend of both old and new that could satisfy an array of disney fans. :sohappy:

I just found a copy of Sentimental Journeys and Music Makers on soundofmagic, I've personally never heard them, but that of course doesn't mean they didn't play on a loop in the unload rooms.

BTW it was the RCA here's to the future actual chorus signing the words that could be heard while going up the speedramp and seeing yourself on tv, with Billy and his Dog filming you. In the sloping entrance from 1975-1985 it was the combo tune of the chorus like humming or making this beeping noises as musical notes with the musical version played behind them, while outside strictly the big band musical version played.

I too have never found the Moog Music on line. It is a neat sound though, sort of creepy.

The sloping entrance does play the soft trumpet musical version to we've come so far, but it also plays another song, and they loop together. Marni its on your tomorrowland 1971-1994 video, its the first song you use once the peoplemover enters space mountain, then you have the music transer into the star corridor music, but I;m not sure what the song in question is called.

My bad, the sloping entrance inside to space mountain is one audio track, which is the musical version to we've come so far, it just has different varations that go between a trumpet and a small pieced band. :brick:

Hehe... I`ve classed the first tune in the satellite entrance hall as WCSF (Instrumental). The second version I`ve called the WEDWay version (it plays/ed in the WEDWay entrance tunnel) - also called the star corridor version.

Has anyone yet succeeded in finding a real recording of the moog music played in the star tunnels?
I`ve done a new mix with the 1977 WED Moog area loop (same as some of the tune in question) and added a clean live recording from the building; the result is not bad at all even if I do say so myself. It`ll be on my forthcoming Tomorrowland WDW - an Ultimate History video; hence the OP.

Can anyone add to the Music Makers / Sentimental Journeys section?

Can't wait to see it - your current Tomorrowland 1971-1994 is one of my favorites.
