The video you say was one of the other Space Mountains. They are all different (although I think TDL's and DL's are pretty similar).

Funny, though, that the WDW website uses incorrect footage.
Not a surprise, I guess... WDW has a surprisingly cruddy website for such a high profile company.

Nice. With all the different brand managers disney has you would think one of them would have thrown a red flag at that one.

It's like a Flip flop for both Splash & Space at DL & WDW..

Splash has 2 Seaters at WDW/ 1 long bench for DL
Space is 1 seater cars/ 2 seaters for DL

I saw the Space Moutain trains about a week ago. That's all I am able to say about them. They definately were one seaters before the attraction closed.

they took that from disneyland's video.They show disneyland's in every one of disneyworld's videos:lol:
they must think guests are stupid....well, some are:wave:

With the talk about Space Mountain vehicles, will the next re-incarnation bring a two seater aboard, or will it retain the one seater rockets?

Unless the majority of the interior is totally removed and rebuilt - including major structural areas - the ride will remain single seat for the forseeable future.

From what I can say, this thing is basically being taken apart then put back together right now. I can't elaborate much more than that. It's going to be AWESOME when it's finished. I think it will be a nice rehab.

I can't say much about the ride vehicals other than: they look like rockets. They look nice.
