...Which happens to be seeing Space Mountain, with the lights on! When my TTA vehicle went in to Space Mountain (after being stuck for some reason and actually being hit by another TTA vehicle to knock us into motion (you know, I'm not a lawsuit kind of guy, but I think that a free trip into the utilidors may be the only thing that could cure that pain in my neck  )) we got to see the most amazing sight, THE LIGHTS WERE ON! That ride is huge! And guess who got a video! :D

If you like seeing Space Mountain with the lights on so much be sure to drop by during their annual 3 - 4 day rehab. I seem to recall the last one being mid-February. TTA runs regularly during this traditional rehab and the lights are always on. And towards the end of the rehab (such as the last day) you might even catch them doing test runs of the ride vehicles. I did, and it looks pretty cool. (The ride looks slower and more "tame" from TTA than it feels riding it in the dark.) Didn't you get the feeling that there was still a lot of empty space in that building... space that could be used for *more track*?

About 4 years ago I was thwarted from riding space mountain. The CM has said that the attraction was going through some minor repairs. So I had the idea to ride the TTA to possibly catch a glimpse. I definitely did! The lights were on and I was viewing a life size erector set. It was awesome!:sohappy:

Absolutely no chance of being hit by the structure on Space Mountain. There is actually a couple of feet of extra clearance.

Shaq rode it with his arms up several times. Any of you as tall as Shaq?

I didn't think so.:D

I remember being on the TTA when it went through space mountain with the lights on.
It felt quite eerie and scary, id rather be trapped there in the dark!!
