Now how can I refuse such a nice invitation. Not that I needed a special invitation or anything. Found out from our scheduler this morning that my day off was approved. Get to show off my Disney tats. Weather permitting i'll be the guy wearing the black and gray Mickey jacket/coat. Black Grand Am with a "Doom Bugy" license plate.

I'd also be up for an A.C. get together. Escpecially if it's right in A.C. That way I could take the train down and not have to worry about having a few beers and driving. But regardless, if theirs enough interest down the road wherever the meet spot, i'd be in.

Wasn't their a Rainforest previously in A.C ??

Already looking forward to meeting everyone and putting some face's with the names. :sohappy: :wave:

I'm for an AC get together as well, evena World of Disney get together in NY. We can bus over from Jersey, and try to find somewhere over there to eat. If someone has skills to organize it that is. :drevil:

I don't think there used to be a Rainforest in AC, but I know there was one in a mall in Central Jersey.....Menlo park mall maybe? I don't remember which one, it was a while ago....I went on a field trip there with my cooking class.

Medport Diner

Ok, sorry for the mess up. The diner is BEFORE Kentucky Fried Chicken. If you are coming from the West, down Route 70. If you are coming from the Marlton Circle, where Route 70 and 73 come together (Olga's diner), continue on Route 70, East towards the shore. Just after the 6th traffic light, and just before KFC, turn into the Medport Diner.

Hey guy's, sorry to say I will now not be able to come. Yet again fate has found a way to sc--w me over. Had a pretty nasty accident at work today. I was starting to replace a customers cale line to her house, and before I could get securely fastened to the cable support line between pole's another line snapped causing the support line to move drastically which made me fall about 18 feet to the ground. If I could have gotten secured 1st at least I would've just been dangling from the line swinging in the breeze waitng for backup to come get me. Scary watching yourself fly by your ladder and not being able to do a d--n thing about it. I landed feet 1st but immediately went down. After I hit and laid on the ground in the most god awful pain i've ever had, I was able to move all extremities. Ambulance took me to the hospital where they checked me out, did all kinds of back/leg/ankle x-rays which none showed any major or crippiling damage. From the time of the accident till the time I left the hospital, I think I was on my back for about 3 hours. As you can imagine i've got major lower back pain and according to the doc's probably will for a few days. But they are going to put me on percosets (??). A few of which are making me feel a bit funky right now. Man, im actually taking medication for what they were intended for :lol: .

I'm really bummed and HIGHLY PO'd that i'm not going to be able to make it. Really wanted to meet you guy's. Especially you TiggerBW after the nice PM's weve exchanged a few times. Next potential get together i'm just going to take the whole week off, and not leave my bed !!!!!

Geez, I hope i'm still 6-1 :lol: Hope everyone has a good time and makes some new friends. I'll be thinkin of ya's.

Might I suggest we bring something small tidbit, trinket, special memory, etc to "show off?" Me, I'm bringing a special guest, specifically for Gary. :lookaroun

TiggerBW and I have met. I know Chucknstuff. So, Gary, if you see someone with a wire coming out of their ear, constantly scanning right and left, up and down, and talking into his jacket, that isn't me.

Congratulations to Bonnie (TiggerBW) who showed up with a rock the size of Manhatten, freshly engaged to a gentleman who is so twisted, so profoundly deranged, that he ordered a stromboli when the clear choice was the chicken parmigiana (just kidding, no one could be that crazy ) . . . no, Bonnie's fiancee is so loopy, he actually doesn't intend to go to Disney World for either the wedding or even the honey-moon.

We have decided, however, (and I think Bonnie may have missed this because she was busy on the phone making wedding plans and acting all smoochie woochie) that if he doesn't change his mind, we fully intend to crash the wedding. And not only will we crash, but Chuck will be dressed as Tinkerbell, Tom will be dressed as Ariel, and I will be dressed as Jasmine.

Since I'm headed to Las Vegas tomorrow via USAir, the conversation naturally drifted toward horrible, bloody airplane crashes and the black-hole that is USAir baggage handling.

About Bonnie? She and her brother (and some cousins, I think) were at the meet last July in WDW. They didn't get in on the Dessert Party in time so they stayed outside the fence and chatted with us. I tried to convince her to hop the fence (esp after dark) but she wouldn't go for it.
