I didn't realize how many people from these boards were from NJ! I'm from Ocean County, anyone near here? I won't be able to make your little get together....gotta work, but I'd love to see where everyone is from. :wave:

I am also from The OC (haha) on the barrier island, and will also not be able to make the meet b/c I will be packing up for school and moving back in. Classes start on Monday, we don't get off for MLK Jr Day.

But a Great Adv meet, as opposed to the place as I am, should be fun. And Kingda Ka is coming, lol.

Just notice'd this thread !! Let me check the time off board at work tomorrow and see if we have any openings. We can only have so manys guy's off on a given day. But being the middle of January I don't think it should be a problem. The problem will be me trying to navigate NJ !!!!

Sure, there are hundreds of places we could go. One time a friend and I were taking a motorcycle ride and found a little, nondescript restaurant by the side of the road that had some really great, interesting food. I remember getting some black olives stuffed with asiago that were really good.:slurp:

Don't know if I could find it again (It was north of Egg Harbor somewhere), but just something simple like that would be fun.

Wow.....we're not to far away from each other.
Where do you go to school? That sucks that you're college dosent give you off monday.... My college didn't give us off Labor day this year, and boy did they hear about it!

I think Great Adventure would be a great spot to meet for 2 reasons.
1. Kingda Ka....need I say more?
2. We could bring our own friends and just meet up with the members from this board for a little while, possibly take in a few rides then go our seperate ways (If we want) I don't think my parents would be so cool with me (who's only 21) meeting a bunch of stragers I met online (no offense to all of you.... :wave: ) But, if I was going to GA for a day, then it would be better.

I love Ocean City. It's my favorite beach. We could eat at Mack n' Mancos, (best pizza EVER), get some boardwalk fudge, play mini golf or something, etc.

If you all want to have a fun time at a ghetto amusement park, come to Long Island. I'll probably be working at this place called Adventureland over the summer. Ask any true Long Island native and they will tell you about it.

Cha Cha and the gang opened early this summer. The food was pretty good the last couple times I ate there. It's located inside the Trump Plaza and it has a temple looking outside to it. (It looks nice at night)

It's surprising that Atlantic City is coming back to life with all new restaurants like Johnny Rockets, Cubre Libre, Carmines, P. F. Chang, Babalu Grill, Palm, Rí~Rá. And more restaurants are coming when the pier at ceasers opens.​

Actually all you Disney-ites in the area are free to email me everytime. I grew up outside disney for 20 years (in a van box down by the river) I was fortunate to have worked their also when I was 18 (Haunted Mansion and Jungle Cruise).

My next trip is August 2005 on the the Disney Cruise. t-7 months and 28 days :sohappy: :sohappy:

I remember when my son was younger, every time he would want a new friend to come visit I felt like I had to find some way to introduce myself to the parents and explain that I wasn't a pedophile: "Nice to meet you! And let me just say that I don't like little boys. . . errrrrrr, ummmmm . . . that is to say I like little boys, but I don't like like them . . . errrrrrrr, ummmmmm . . . Maybe you could get a friend to go with you? Its really a great opportunity to

Yeah, that's why I was thinking something less formal, like Great Adventure, that way, it's more public, more open, ya know.

Two years ago, Me and Brian (Freak) had planned to meet in New York. Knowing I wouldn't get my parent's ok to go to New York to see an internet friend, I lied and told them he was a good friend from college. :lol: It worked too! But the meet ended up getting canceled so it was all for nothing.
