Songs that remind you of Disney

No one song per se, but often when I hear anything New Age-y, my mind drifts to thoughts of Future World in Epcot. And if it's atmospheric and meandering, with no melody and a lot of random "beeeee-wwwww..." synth fades, I may think of Space Mountain.

Lots of songs remind me of Disney. On our past trip in June we had "Viva La Vida" by Coldplay on the MP3 player loads, it became a sort of theme tune for the trip.

Another song that sticks in the mind, and only because it always seemed to get played at the same time on shuffle was "Come Home" by James. It would very often get randomly played by the player on the 192 heading towards Disney and now whenever we hear it I think of the WDW archways!

The song "come sail away" there is a part in it where it is just synthesizer
that reminds me of the Main Street Electrical Parade.

I will have to agree and say Aerosmith. Although, the last time I rode RNRC there was no music at all which was a strange experience. The music is a huge part of the attraction. I was completely bored riding with no music.

Basically anything by Aerosmith, as Disney uses quite a few songs from them between the queue, pre-show, and on the actual attraction. Also, Red Red Wine by UB40. I seem to here that song at least a couple of times each time I go to Blizzard Beach.

Time Machine by Click 5. Its the song in the commercial for Orlando where the mom & daughter start out on Big Thunder Mountain & after coming out of a tunnel, the mom is the same size/age as the daughter. The ad then show them running through all the parks (even universal) but when they pass a map encased in glass, the reflection of the mom is her as an adult, not the child that is shown with the daughter.

Its just funny cuz thats the same thing that happens when my mom & I are in the parks together.

All Aerosmith but mostly Walk this Way, Dude (Looks Like a Lady), Sweet Emotion, and pretty much the whole "Pump" album. I guess because the first three tracks are played on the ride (Young , F.I.N.E, and Love in an Elevator) and the song "What it Takes" always plays outside the attraction pretty much every time I go to it.

But it's not so much just a certain song but also a genre of music that reminds me of Disney World. Classical music really reminds me of it for some reason (Especially the Fugue part of J.S. Bach's Toccata and Fugue. It reminds me of the classical music or renaissance era in the old Spaceship Earth haha) , so does Jazz and New Age music reminds me of Epcot.

I have a keyboard with a ton of effects on it and every once in a while I will find an effect that reminds me of Epcot and I'll play part of the Future World loop that I learned by ear

Beach Boys!! A lot of their songs remind me of the water parks! I was at Thorpe Park (UK) a few weeks ago and they play Beach Boys and it just reminded me of WDW!

I have a few.

Hook by Blues Traveller, because I specifically remember it being played one night while at Pleasure Island.

All Star by Smashmouth as whenever I'm about to stay at All Stars, I sing that song, but change the lyrics to "Hey now, you're at the All Star."

It's All Been Done by the Barenaked Ladies, as Frankie and the West End Boys from Pleasure Island always played that song.

You'll Be In My Heart by Phil Collins. It's cheating because it was in Tarzan, but I can't help it. It's always played at the Marketplace at DTD.
