Good Night My Love - (I can't find the artist...this is NOT the Vogues version...it begins in the same way, but then changes radically)

Good night my love
pleasant dreams and sleep tight my love, good night. (Thats' the same)

Never ever thought I'd want to be leaving you
You're the dearest girl I know and there's nothing that I own
That I wouldn't want to give to you.

Then it goes on about his meeting agirl on the way home, and falling in love with her.

Do any of the rest of you old timers remember it?

I've found a few songs with different lyrics, but none with those.

I don't remember that one.

Paul Anka recorded it. Is that the version you are thinking of?

Next song - Say Goodnight - Beth Nielsen Chapman
