I’m a former cm and I still have a lot of friends working at wdw. The ones who work in studios have been posting alarming Facebook posts such as “please leave fantasmic alone”, “I hope fantasmic doesn’t go” and “don’t touch fantasmic” etc. The cms said there is a nighttime show making its final curtain call and everything seems to be pointing to Fantasmic. Keep an eye out

No offense to your friends, but if they are front line CM's they rarely have access to accurate information on this sort of thing.

Actually no, one is a manager in galaxies edge lol. Even so, the frontline cms do know higher up people within the company. Once something like this gets out frontline are almost the first ones to know.

If Fantasmic blew up that would be no loss. For most of the day, the huge patch of land is not utilized until the evening shows at night. Not surprised if the powers that be (WDI) have their wheels spinning on what the next thing will be....

I have two friends that are imagineers, one of them helped build galaxies edge and toy story land. I will try to get something out of her later but I highly doubt it lol

If they're going to revamp the show, I say revamp everything including the stage. Fantasmic has been the most deserving out of all the attractions in WDW to receive an update. Disneyland get little tweaks here and there for their Fantasmic, while WDW's version has been stuck in 1998. The only "recent" thing worked on was the video montage at the start of the show because they HAD to include Frozen characters, which ended up ruining the video montage. Even the costumes have gone to $heit!

But I still see Disney doing away with the show and brining another concept to life.
