Something I saw at centeral shops on Google maps

Those are Dumbos.

Im sorry... the north angle, dumbos all set up already and it looks like early 2013 looking at the progress of the 7 dwarf's coal mine roller coaster. Like I said, wont let me upload that one screen shot :-(.

Here's what I am seeing...The original spinning base with no Dumbos..

And moving East one set of Dumbos were done...The other group was getting ready to be put on..

Again....DUMBO'S!!!!!

Ok, I saw the dumbos bright and clear as well as the christmas tree in pieces, the other image is totally different, dumbo is fully set up when you look at the direction facing the back of the castle. Plus its a different time of year and by the way don't look at the dumpsters.

I got a chance to tour Central Shops about 2 months ago as part of the "Backstage Magic" tour.
When we were there the Jungle Cruise was undergoing its refurbishment, so there were a couple elephant figures outside with new skins.
Inside were more Jungle Cruise animatronics undergoing restoration, as well as some of the new stuff for the Mine Train ride.

Google Earth has a different set of aerial photographs of the Central Shops.
In their set you can see what appear to be Splash Mountain logs sitting outside on the West side of the building.

Ok, now in another angle, theres these big round balls. Cant tell what those are.

You mentioned you were looking North. Other objects appear in different orientations. Those objects are the connected planets around the Astro Orbiter

Now the weird thing is if you move the map to Tomorrowland all the planets are in place....

Which brings up another question...Why are we wondering about this???

The Dumbos from the old location were refurbed and then put into Storybook Circus (on the side toward the teacups). The railroad station side Dumbos where brand new.

Are you sure? I could have sworn they made all new Dumbos. We were in Central Shops, on a Backstage Magic tour, when the Barnstormer trains and Dumbos were in the paint shop. Looked like enough elephants for both spinners.

Yeah, I seem to remember hearing that they were all replaced with new Dumbos.

No, the new Dumbos spin the opposite direction, so the elephants face the opposite direction and the opening is on the opposite side of the elephant.
