Some of the " Subtle" things you love bout Disney

Everyone loves the rides, the big shows,etc about Disney, but there things bout Disney I just love.
The little subtle things that just make you feel good. One for me is pretty much waking up every morning to sunshine aand sounds of birds singing. Not many if any mornings we are down there(summer) where you wake up to the dark,rainy dreary weather....always sunny..at least in the mornings. Another is just walking around early in morn at resort and seeing how happy people are knowing they are going to a park ( end of long day a different story..lol)
Another ( hope doesnt sound dumb) is the feeling of being able to just spend the money on nice meals,gifts, etc without stress because you have saved for a year ( some maybe several years) to not feel streesed spending all this money. Love the feeling of " just leave the driving to us" when there. For me No Car...don't want to hear it....Leave the Driving to DISNEY...many more....bout you?

I love interacting with cast members. We trade pins and it opened a whole new aspect to us. We always ask where they are from and how they ended up at Disney.

I also love that my kids enter this weird bubble where they to exactly as we say because they know that everything is going to be fun. Or is it that we forget the word "no"? Either way I don't argue with no bickering. 99 days to bliss :)

I agree. We enjoy the DDP because it's the one time we can go to any restaurant on a vacation and just order what ever without looking at price. No worry, just the added sense of magical moments. Through out the year, so many of us have to watch our budget and you sometimes get the feeling you "shouldn't splurge" when eating out. But just knowing that when in WDW, we can walk in anywhere (as long as you plan 180 days out, lol) and order like you have a full wallet, allowing you to forget that just 2 weeks ago, you ate lunch at the local gas station because they had hot dogs for 2/$1 and a 44oz drink for .89. The fact that you are paying for the DDP in one way or another (full price with room discount or Free DDP with no room discount)doesn't matter. It's a mind thing. Once on property, you don't need to look at your wallet to determine where and what you eat. We just ENJOY "our" magical experience.

THIS!! This is exactly my happy place also. The rides are great...the shows are wonderful. But just the feeling of waking up at your Disney resort in the morning and opening that door and seeing....... the sunshine, birds singing and all the plants outside my Riverside room. Aaahahhhh. Now I'm daydreaming. :) ~sigh~

The music, the smells on Main St. Not traveling by car, leaving it to Disney to get me where I need to go. The peaceful early morning. I usually find a comfy seat outside at POFQ, and bring a book to enjoy. Palm trees...love palm trees. When we are there in March, coming from the Midwest, I really appreciate all of the green and flowers.

I agree!!
This is my #1 argument on why to use DDP.
