Some more updates from my walk about the magic kingdom today. The trees that used to be so lovely on the left side of the castle facing mainstreet are now gone. In their place some planters that are babies and sadly not grown at all. So long to one of my favorite shaded area's. Second the sword in the stone is operational again and they were doing shows but no merlin. Does anyone know if that had been happening? I haven't heard of it if so.

They were doing the sword in the stone show during Christmas week with the Castle Merrymakers, the show is a lot of fun.

Nice to a show around the Sword in the Stone again.

I saw a picture of the new area by the castle and it made me sad. LOL. I loved that little area and hung out there last month enjoying a float from Sleepy Hollow. Sigh. It was nice to actually be able to not be around crowds, sit on a bench and just enjoy being there.

When did this start happening?! Great news that there is at least some kind of show again.
I don't know, but you can tell it's recent as the dirt build up on the upper half of the sword is something fierce. It's super noticeable especially sword rises out of the stone lol It's two different colors. But I thought this was more or less something that happened recently! Good to see my hunch was right.

It was a little hidden nook that I loved so much, get an ice cream sandwich from sleep hollow and then head over to the benches to sit underneath some nice shaded trees. The benches are still there, the shade of those pretty trees sadly are not.

I know :( I loved that little area. It was such a nice little spot. I'm glad the benches weren't removed. One of the rare places there are some benches.
