Some big things coming to Disney Springs

It's not a Disney venue. The Edison, as a company, has always had that whole complex.

The Edison, Neverland Tunnels, and Walt's are all one complex run by an outside vendor (not Disney). From what I understand the Neverland Tunnels will be a speakeasy type bar only accessible through a secret passage from the Edison. Walt's will be comfort type food with some connection to Walt Disney's early years as a child growing up...apparently with some type of stage / theater component. No real inside knowledge...just some rumblings from friends in the know.

Cirque is a very distinct show. I was willing to pay for it.

A Disney musical though, such as Aladdin or Frozen? If I've already seen shows based on The Lion King, Finding Nemo, Beauty and the Beast, and the Little Mermaid I just can't imagine getting excited for another Disney show, Broadway caliber or not.

I would not be surprised. I question how long Mermaid and Belle shows will last Hollywood Studios. It would make perfect sense for a broadway type show. They way they have designed disney springs, you could almost visit the area for a few days and do a ton. They have everything else but a broadway show. I expect it to be a pop up theater meaning the show could change ever so open. First up is Frozen. TRAGIC if you ask me. Disney springs is terrible now i hate it, yep I am in the minority. It is nothing more than a nice outside shopping mall. What is even more worse, the former downtown disney felt like disney and I felt comfortable. Walking around disney springs is like walking around any mall: if you are not attractive and have a nice frame, there is nothing for you.

But the majority of Downtown Disney is still there. The West Side and Marketplace are mainly the same as they were before and if you don't want to walk into the new area just cut through the landing and you can avoid it completely.
