Yep. The motion base screens are rear projection 35mm screens. Not sure about the projector - I think I can safely say its not film! Dating back to the mid / late `80s - possibly a videodisc player situated off the motion base, cabled to the projector?

Here is a real secret

If you are the last group to get on for the last ride, you can usually ride it again if you ask the folks running the ride nicely. After the guests leave the dudes working there usually ride it themselves and have enough spare space for other to hitch a ride.
