Trip Report Soarin' Solo in WDW.....CrazyDisneyLady Style

Well, it's Sept Friday the 13th and in 2 hrs I will be heading to Detroit for the night to board my plane in the morning. This will be my first solo trip, so excited but still a little nervous. Can't wait to get there and just have fun.

Arrive Sat the 14 th around noon then heading to Dtd to get my EOS. Always the first stop. Hoping to do a live trip report we will see how well it goes, I have all the equipment just have to be able to get everything working without lugging everything around with me(still want to be able to have fun). Looking forward to bringing everyone along with me. See you real soon.

Wifi at DTD was awful today....back at ASSports and still no fridge, called housekeeping and spoke with them got some snotty Busch and told me it takes an hour it's been 3 not a happy camper as I have to keep going to get ice to keep my medication in. They offered to put it in their fridge..ya right like I am going to leave my $300 mess with you were there are several people going in and out no thanks. If when I get back tonight there still isn't one they will be getting an ear ful..pun intended lol

Lots of technically difficulties on Splash probably stopped 3 times after that BTMR is closed down due to technical difficulties... Oh we'll maybe it's a sign to go back to the room and sleep. Battery is dying anyways...lol

Lets sum up the day. Had a great start to my day landed got the area for room that I wanted. Did everything I planned on doing at DTD. Had an amazing dinner at Boma. Became best friends with a 3 year old little boy( he asked me to be his best friend on the bus to MK). Rode BTMR and Splash the technical difficulties was lighting in the area. Decided that it was time to head back to the hotel but stopped quick for a dole whip. On our trip back to the hotel I got to experience 2 new Disney experiences 1. The bus driver got lost it was kind of funny 2. A DME bus got pulled over by the police. So finally we get back to the room and guess what no fridge. I bolted down to the front desk and talked to them. I told them if they couldn't get me one then they were going to have to move me, come on its been 9 hours how hard is it to bring a fridge to the room. Anyways the manager got on the phone and told them to bring down a fridge. Presto in 20 minutes a brand new fridge just out of the box...hmm that's funny it took them 9 hours to take a fridge out of a box....anyways there is my rant. I a tired and going to bed for a better day tomorrow. Have a good night everyone. See ya tomorrow

Hope you have a great day tomorrow! Can't wait to read the rest of your report. I've always been curious about doing a trip by myself, have to see if life ever takes me in that direction (and if the price is right, haha).

Up and at it already today. Fridge is cold now thank goodness. So today is HS in the morning. Opens at 9 am but have a reservation at H&V for 8:10 I let you know if it was vile or not. How bad can you mess up breakfast. I just really want to meet the characters and get in early so I do no have to run as far..lol
