I think it’s pathetic they still didn’t understand the simple ideals used in the original and continue to make really bad knock-off updates.

The fireworks at the end is supposed to be high… you climb up into them to get to the full field of view and the closing moment.

Here… the fireworks are basically level with you… or almost below … and it just fades the scenery out… instead of actually make it look like you climb up into it. Misses so much of the emotion that was put into the original.

I really wish they wouldn’t use headings that suggest that there curvature of the Eiffel Tower was fixed (or even fixable). Disney did well to replace the footage with something that makes the distortion seem less blatant, but it’s still there.
Sorry - they get that label because they earned it - by failing in every dimension. In directing and in presentation.

The scene did not have to be that bad… but it was and it’s entirely on them. They can’t blame the screen… the film was made for that format!!

So, do I see both the Celebration Garden floor lights and the Comminicore Hall wall lights on at the same time? Were they ever both functional at the same time, or did they CGI one/both of them in?

I’m just glad they didn’t resort to having Groot or Elsa or Moana fart around the last scene, you know because of corporate franchise IP synergy and what not.
