We were there last July and rode it. We all enjoyed it and when it ended, everyone clapped which kind of added to the excitement. I didn't know that some people didn't like the new version.

There are many people that have a real problem with change. It's OK, it is part of human nature. We all want everything to be familiar and comfortable for a lot of very good reasons. There is nothing wrong with the new one and the old one was great too. What's there is going to stay, the old one will not be back, but, it can be remembered on You Tube with many examples. BTW, that show Soarin (the original) and Soarin 2.0 have always gotten a round of applause every time I have ridden it. It is a unique experience (either one) and people just flat out enjoy it. Many people just seem to like to make there life difficult instead of remembering the past and embracing the new.
