WHY WERE THEY EVER MADE? They are stupid and the acting is horrible. I mean, at work, there is this person who watches the nbc show relgiously, gets all widly up about it. I don't understand it.

I agree, they are horribly stupid. Addicting as well.

Does anybody else think Kendall looks like Disney's Megara? No? :lookaroun Ok then. Forget I said anything.

I used to be addicted to The Doctors & Days of Our Lives. Then came Santa Barbara. First the Doctors was cancelled, then Santa Barbara. I lost interest in Days a few years ago.

The first soap opera I ever watched was Dark Shadows many, many, many years ago. Kate Jackson was just around 20 & she played a ghost.

I'm a huge fan of the nighttime soaps, were the writing and acting is a tad better.

90210 and now The OC are two great shows.

Anyone remember the Aaron Spelling cancelled nighttime soap, Titans, that was a great show but never found a large enough audience.

I love American soaps they're so bad they're good! UK soaps are very depressing with hard hitting gritty storylines, hell I want some escapism!!

Although a good over the top series called Footballers Wives is a good substitue but I say bring back Dallas and Dynasty

I watched the first couple of seasons of 90210. I admit I am an OC addict.

The dorm I lived in my Freshman year of college was co-ed, and we would get together with the girls from down the hall and watch "Day of our Lives" each night (on tape)...it was 1994-95, and we had a drinking game worked out to the show....I don't remember much of it but it was something like:

Every time Bo says to Billie that nothing can get in the way of them getting married...drink
Every time John Black is wearing a pocket t-shirt...drink
Every time the blond girls eyes turn green (she was possesed)...drink
Every time Hope (who was portraying someone else) thinks she may be Hope...drink

It was amazing how messed up you could get in one hour!
