I can answer that question for you ron. Walt Disney's favorite number was actually the number 13. Its the main reason why Disneyland is located at 1313 Harbor Blvd. :)
Are you sure about that. I was always told it was because M was the 13th letter in the alphabet thus 1313 equals MM for Mickey Mouse.

:sohappy: he said that the answer is John Lasseter BUT he asked me how are they connected...i think that it is somehow involved with Toy Story. can you explain?

original question was:
what does a parade, Buzz Lightyear and the Jungle Cruise attraction all have in common?

does anyone know???

this is close. the guy running the quiz gave me the following clue:
just follow your heart...but beware of hitchhikers

i am not sure what he means but it definately has something to do with the haunted mansion. can you be more specific?

the original question was:
what is the significance of the number 160?

i have really tried to search for this answer and so far it seems like we are all stumped. forward this and the other questions to everyone you know who might be able to find out....PLEASE

Here's a quote:

“Then there was Walt’s favorite number 13. So when it came to assigning of address numbers to Disneyland, the inspector tried to figure out where 1313 might be and it happened to be right about the middle of the freeway. Walt said you’ll assign it to Disneyland.”

~Keith Murdoch

Keith was the City Manager of Anaheim during Disneyland's conception in 1953. Hope that helps. :) And yes, his favorite number was 13 because it was the 13th letter of the alphabet. So you are right too, I just didn't mention the MM part.

If it is the haunted mansion "follow your heart" the lady in attic has a beating heart.

Lasseter was a Jungle Cruise skipper and created Buzz Lightyear. Not sure about the parade, but there was a Toy Story parade (the first Pixar attraction?) at MGM when the movie first came out.

COuld 160 be the # of ghost id the graveyard scene beetween the attic scene and the hitchhiking ghost? Or maybe the # of feet that section of track is?

Just suggestions.

Was John Lasseter involved with the creation of Block Party Bash?

Block Party Bash is a parade full of Pixar characters (Toy Story, Incredibles Bug's Life etc.)

How many doom buggies are there in the HM? Maybe 160?

:sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: we got 1, there are 160 doom buggies in the Hauned Mansion!

now there are only 2 questions left...the John Lasseter & the one with the words wind, salty, red & owl.

I will make a stab at the John Lasseter answer. WE know the Jungle Crusie and the Buzz Lightyear connection. I think the parade connection has to do with an early interview after the release of the first Toy Story. He claims it was at a Toy Story parade at Disney when he realized how important the characters he created were.

Probably a shot in the dark, but its the only connection I can come up with.

not the answer....the guy who is running the quiz gave me another hint, he says that it is tied in with his childhood.

Ran across this earlier in the day not sure if it is helpfull.

1966:

Walt Disney serves as Grand Marshal of the Tournament of the Roses Parade in Pasadena, California. He and Mickey Mouse ride together in a white Cadillac. Sitting curbside with his parents watching the parade is a young John Lasseter - future Jungle Cruise ride operator and Toy Story filmmaker!

now we only have 1 left:
what do the words wind, salty, red and owl have in common?
(he told me to 'think out of the box' and that i will not find it written in any book...not to mean that it will not be in a trivia book).
