So what's the status with Oswald?

There was a rumor posted here a few months ago that Oswald was going to appear in a float in one of the parades. Haven't read anything about it since. Anybody here got any news concerning Walt's long-eared, long-lost son? :)

The only float that has Oswald is at Tokyo Disneyland for their Easter Celebration and he is the float. There hasn't been any news of him coming to the parks lately.

I believe Drew reported that both Oswald and Pete would be coming to the parks for meet-and-greets and that there were rumblings of a new Spectromagic float featuring Oswald that would light up from black and white to color.

Just an opinion not a rumor but I think Oswald would be great in the Halloween or Christmas parades with Clarabelle Cow, Clara Cluck and Horace Horsecollar

I think I had this discussion in the parks with a friend of Mickey's not to long ago, about how it was long overdue for a black & white Mickey & Oswald amoung others to be walking around.

Oswald plushes are available at the Disney Store. It's only a matter of time until the Lucky Rabbit makes his appearance in the parks... and we have the NFL and Sunday Night Football to thank for the return of little black and white bunny. Best trade ever!

Indeed. And with Oswald's return, we not only got back Walt's first-born brainchild, we also got a new "land" - the Wasteland. The comics based on it were excellent. I hope we see more of them in the future (or maybe a movie based on it!)

I was at the local Disney store yesterday, and this CM who saw my son looking at an Oswald plush, insisted that he was traded for Keith Obermann.

I explained how wrong he was, that it was Al Micheals, but he told me I was wrong...

Did I say that he sort of looked like Kronk?:brick:
