So what's it like to cruise as adults only on DCL?

My wife and I have done 2 4 night cruises on the Dream with our 5 and 7 years olds and have had great times. We've dined at Remy twice and have loved it. Next year though my wife and I only will be going on a 3 night cruise on the Dream to the Bahammas. We're going to do Remy and Palo, but were wondering if there's anything else anyone would suggest. Any places in the Bahammas that are good to visit or experiences on the ship. I think we'll do one of the liquor tastings. We did the Mixology class this past March, but were displeased with it as the bartender seemed to like to hear himself talk and a 45 minute long class that started at 4pm was still going on at 5:30pm which was cutting into our dinner seating, not to mention that we told the kids they'd be in the kids club an hour max. Anyway, what does everyone suggest?

My wife likes the wine tastings and the cooking demonstrations (they've been re-themed as "Anyone Can Cook"). She has also experienced the chef who likes the sound of his own voice a little too much, but it's the exception, not the rule. I like the Art of the Theme Show walking tour, and I tend to do a lot of the "educational" talks, even if they're not just for adults.

The cooking classes sound pretty good/interesting! Thanks!

Tracey & I did the 3-night Dream sans the teenagers last September. It was HEAVENLY. Basically, we did what we wanted to and didn't worry with where they were, what time they were coming in, making sure they got back to the stateroom in time to get ready for family stuff, etc. We just chilled and if something struck our fancy we did it. Also went to the Atlantis Aquaventure without them in Nassau. It was fun to go and just have us to worry with. It was like power relaxation plus being a big kid all over again. Almost like a honeymoon! Woooooo!!!!

Go to the adult only night time entertainment! We don't drink and still hung out in the nightclubs some last time. It was really fun. And amusing to see the bartender trying to figure out what a Shirley Temple is. :D

I hate to say it, but a good bartender should know what it is. ;)

The classic "Shirley Temple" has been around a loooot longer than all these johnny-come-lately foo-foo drinks. The hint is in the name. ;)
