Geez...I thought my kids were spoiled!!

I got many wonderful gifts,but my biggest surprise was a gift from a forum member!!! It was just so incredibly thoughtful...and all I sent her was a card! (That's OK; she has a major gift occasion coming up pretty soon. )

My best "gift I never thought I wanted but love" was a set of 3 stacking leather topped footstools that my husband gave me. I can't believe I got along without them for so long! (The earrings were pretty nice, too. )

I don't get it either. In the shoping malls around me, the "Christmas spirit" was SO strong in people that they were passionately fighting tooth and nail over parking spots, standing in long lines cursing and swearing about still having to buy more stuff for family/friends.
