So the CBR rooms are now themed to Finding Nemo?

the bedding looks like the cheap kids' comforters you can buy at your local target/walmart.

I'm just glad Nemo is getting a little love at WDW. I can't find sign of the lovable little guy anywhere in the parks. At least I'll be able to see him at the resort.

That stuff is good at the value resorts but I loved the escapist qualities of CBR, it's not as bad as I imagined it when i first read it but still... i like what the CBR was.

couldnt disney have spent this money on something else? was it really necessary? I stayed there last year, and everything was perfect, didnt see any need for a refurb

I still would think the money they spent on cbr refurb wouldve been put to better use in the parks

I have to disagree. We have stayed at the CBR 3 times in recent years and noticed in Sept how run down the rooms were getting. Cracks in the ceiling, dents in the walls, worn carpet, etc.

I don't see much difference in the style to be honest, loud colors still seem to be the fashion. I don't quite get why they didn't go pirates myself, but it would probably been a bit over the top. Hence the limited display going into Trinidad South.

Hohum, nothing to see here, move along. ;-)

And about the fridges? My goodness, I loved CBR.

That bit really needs clarification. They just installed the fridges in all the moderates about 3 or 4 years ago. Why would they take them back out? And from only one resort? I'm sure that has to be either a temporary measure, the rooms aren't completed yet, or the fridges are put inside some kind of cabinet like they are at the deluxes.

Yes, I don't see how the fridges would be taken out for good. And from only ONE resort? NO. I don't think Pixar is taking over Disney. I don't think Nemo is the best thing for the CBR, but for the rest of WDW, it's not being taken over. Merely showing off more Disney characters and advertising Pixar more.

Hmm. That's interesting. I have never stayed at CBR, so I can't say what look suited the rooms better, but I don't see anything wrong with a Nemo theme. Who doesn't love FN?

If I wanted cartoons staring me in the face at the hotel I would stay at Pop. It's a bit of overkill, but if they only do it in one island of CB, I could live with it.
