If I’m alive, I will be 88. Not out of the question.I hope I make it to the 100th. I’ll be 73.

Speaking as someone who was also there that day (after bugging my parents to take me (and my dad finally giving in)), this report is spot-on. Definitely my favorite Disneyland memory to date.I'll also add that I was there on July 17, 2005, and it was just an incredible experience. From spending the night lined up in DCA with thousands of other fans (my first time really being immersed in Disney fandom), to having the CMs greet us "Welcome home" as we walked up Main Street, to the huge rededication ceremony in front of the castle, to the free ears and cupcakes, the energy was absolutely electric. And with all the warnings about how busy it would be scaring away casual visitors, the crowds were delightfully thin and like-minded. It really was one of those once-in-a-lifetime moments that you just had to be there for.
i was just gonna post this here! For those missing DL Forever's theme Song, TDR got Step Into The Magic for the new Disney Light The Night fireworks show!
I hope I don't care about Disneyland when I'm 56.
I assume that Disney Land in the future will be so crowded, there will be strict admission decisions and people paying large sums of money to bribe Disney officials into letting their families in.
