We cancelled our ten night stay at the CSR for September back in April due to the economy, husband getting his third pay cut in three years and rising college tuition bills. Luckily, we were going to Marco Island for ten days instead as a lawyer I work with and who has become a family friend offered us his two-bedroom condo at no charge. We also had enough miles to get free airline tickets so we were only paying for a rental car, a couple of meals out and food for me to cook...this was manageable for us. Well, then Disney came out with the $96 a night rate for moderates and I suggested to DH we stop for two nights on the way to Marco Island so that we get our Disney fix. He said if I could get the rate to go for it (we still had the deposit for the ten night trip on hold for 2010). Well, I got three nights at the $96 rate. :sohappy::sohappy: Then I booked our airline tickets. Well, of course, there were no early morning flights on Saturday that wouldn't waste our whole day, so DH says let's fly out Friday night if you can get the CSR one additional night. So now we are on for four nights/four days at the CSR.
So September 18-22 at Disney and then September 22 - 29 at Marco Island.
When I got home from work that night DH said you better start making ADR's. Okay...like I'm going to get anything at this point, but I'll see what I can do. Over a week's time of playing with the online dining, I was able to get an 8:05 a.m. at Crystal Palace, 5:40 at Sci Fi, 1:00 at Plaza Restaurant and a 12:55 at LeCellier.
We are so excited to be going "home" and seeing the newly rehabbed rooms while still fresh and not having to wait until 2010.
