Yes. The best place to minimize the sensation of motion is to be as middle as possible on all planes. Hold an ink pen at the center so it's horizontal. Tip it up & down. Make sense? Also, you might want to get lower on the ship, closer to the water. The closer you are to the water the less pronounced the motion feels when the ship rocks side to side. If you're going to be on the Dream or Fantasy make sure you know what is directly above you on deck 11 before you make your final room selection. When the deck chairs are being pulled out each morning you're likely to hear them being dragged around.

I agree with @sweetpee_1993 . Last month the only times I really remember feeling the ship (the Dream) were in the Walt Disney Theater (that was the most intense one - I thought I was going to tumble down the stairs when I was walking to my seat!), Evolution, Enchanted Garden and Animator's Palate. All of these places are forward/aft and I was stone-cold sober every time. ;) Our room was deck 6, midship and I never felt it there.

That's an excellent point about "what's above you". I certainly felt the motion of the ship in my aft verandah room, but I so loved that huge verandah that's what I'm booking again. I was going to try to go higher to get away from the noise of the engines, though, because that was pretty loud all night--I'll have to take a looksee and figure out which is the lesser evil.

Wait until you see the verandah Tracey & I had on the Fantasy. It was oversized although not quite as big as the center aft verandahs. No noise and barely any vibration. It was pretty dang nice.

We had room 9526 on the Disney dream which is aft. I personally did not feel any motion. the most I felt was one night when I was on the adult pool I couldnt stand and you could see the pool water shifting like crazy I had my own wave pool. But i would love to get this room again when we cruise again!!!

The most motion I ever felt was on our Alaska cruise. Because you're constantly moving between islands, you never go in a straight line. Therefore, the top of the ship is always trying to catch up to bottom of the ship. Lots of wobble.
