So I've finally made it to my vacation. I've saved, planned and packed. I got up this morning packed the last minute things into my suitcases, fed my cats, grabbed my husband, locked up my house and was off to the Atlantic City Airport. Only to find that when we got here my 1:56p.m. Flight is delayed to 6 p.m. So here we sit waiting......

So close yet so far.... Argh !

That sucks. But at least its better than sitting at work, staring at a clock for the day to end. LOL. But I hope this is the only thing that goes wrong and you have a wonderful vacation....

I feel your pain....in August flight was to leave at 4:20 and never left till 9:30. So much for the magic of Mickey getting your bags to your room!! But while at the bar killing time we ran into a CM from the GF...he told us lots of stories and it help past time. Yes it may take you a little longer to get there but your going....have a great trip!!!!

That happened to us out of DFW once. 10AM flight and we ended up taking off sometime around 7PM. The reason was a storm in Houston. The flight was Dallas to Detroit... :shrug:

I feel your pain. I hate waiting in the airports. That is why I always get to the airport about an 1.5 hours before my flight so if It is delayed I can stay home longer.

sigh... It's always the airlines i miss trains - real trains... The ones that work. Cop has a line in the 30's scene: "we can make it from ny to san francisco in only three days by train...."

it's 2010. It still takes three days .

Hi everyone sorry I didn't post sooner I lost connectivity in the airport. We finally made it. Our flight left at 6:01 and it was a pretty smooth flight. We got in around 8:15 last night so by the time we got our car and checked into AKV it was around 9:45. I'm absolutely loving the AKV, we saw some zebra and oxen this morning. I've never stayed anywhere else but my home resort of BWV. I'll keep everyone posted on our trip and post pics.

Sorry if my grammar isn't good I'm trying to post this from my IPod. Lol

Trying getting stuck in the Omaha airport for 4 hours and then in the St. Louis Airport for 12 hours. Snow storms... We had a wonderful trip though. ^^
