When I stated "calm down kids", I meant no offense to you or the other posters. I simply tried to use some humor to "calm down" a conversation that was getting rather heated. I'm sorry if you took this offensively. It wasn't meant that way.

I didn't take it offense, and I didn't really intend on reporting you, but you see how your innocuous comment could be grounds for action where other posters who are clearly trying to offend, but just don't directly call names, are "with-in the rules".

I'm not claiming my "idiot" comment was completely innocuous, rather justified after the slew of comments from the OP.

Regardless of the topic, or how passionate you may be about it, calling another poster an "idiot" on this forum is forbidden. A moderator has already edited that post; I think it might be a good idea to let the subject drop.

I stand by what I said. The moderators will do what they will do. It is their forum and their rules, which don't really differ that much from "polite" society. So be it. But I will not be abused page after page and then apologize or feel bad about doing something forbidden. There is a difference between what is right and what is verboten.
