Disney probably just is thinking that the cost to restore Splash Mountain could be enough they should just retheme. Who knows. I think Tokyo is one of the few that really kept up with the ride quality.

Yeah pretty much. If anyone has read the Mouse Tales series of books they would not be surprised to see this happen from time to time.

Dispite Disney's magical aura these are just machines that are subject to tons of use every day and likely to break unexpectedly like any machine.

With visitors passing through four flames into a catch pool, I'm surprised nobody's reported being burned yet.
Universal water parks are light years ahead of WDW water parks in the thrill factor. With the 150lb weight limit at one UO water park ride, there must be some disappointed guests that don't qualify.
