More like submerged but it's fine. I'm really surprised though that the water is that deep.Signs say you “May” get wet. They didn’t say anything about taking me snorkeling

Don't forget this.
Yes same here. I would have assumed one would bottom out before the water would make it over the sides of the boatMore like submerged but it's fine. I'm really surprised though that the water is that deep.
Splash Mountain didn't paralyze someone, injure ride testers or have linked 115 other people injured on the ride since 2017. https://www.fox35orlando.com/news/r...-bay-injured-on-same-slide-that-paralyzed-manThere is weight limit in one of the Universal water park water slides ( 150lb max ) each guests gets weighed prior to going on. Should there be a weight limit to go on Splash Mountain?
Just saying if several guests weighing 270 lbs average get in a SM boat, you do not think the boat will take on water?Splash Mountain didn't paralyze someone, injure ride testers or have linked 115 other people injured on the ride since 2017. https://www.fox35orlando.com/news/r...-bay-injured-on-same-slide-that-paralyzed-man
Don't forget that Living with the Land had an issue the other day and sent Guest backwards through the green houses.

Is drowning not considered a safety hazard in the south? I know laws in the south are outdated but wow.
It looks like the log in front may have had a few heavy guests in the front row only, this this one got caught underneath? No, it will not take on water. The hold far more weight than a boat full of heavy guests.
True, water rides will sink from time to time. Maybe a roller coaster will fly off the rails occasionally. The ride is old what do you expect. People just have super high expectations since it's a a Disney ride.
In the words of Lynyrd Skynyrd: Sweet Home AlabamaIs drowning not considered a safety hazard in the south? I know laws in the south are outdated but wow.
Whatever you do don't get out of the boat. A FL guest got out of the boat at SM/MK in Nov 2000. He was attempting while walking in the water ride path to get to an emergency exit because he was feeling ill. He was struck by an oncoming boat. He passed away.I't went under as soon as we all stepped out," when we were all pushing down on the boat to get out.
