Yes same here. I would have assumed one would bottom out before the water would make it over the sides of the boat

Just saying if several guests weighing 270 lbs average get in a SM boat, you do not think the boat will take on water?

Don't forget that Living with the Land had an issue the other day and sent Guest backwards through the green houses.

Was there an issue? I thought I heard the pumps turned off and when pumps aren't moving the boats forward, they'll naturally float backwards. I definitely think maintenance and spending is atrocious at WDW but I can't fault them for that one.

No, it will not take on water. The hold far more weight than a boat full of heavy guests.

The ride is old what do you expect. People just have super high expectations since it's a a Disney ride.

True, water rides will sink from time to time. Maybe a roller coaster will fly off the rails occasionally.

People's expectations are completely ridiculous these days.

Whatever you do don't get out of the boat. A FL guest got out of the boat at SM/MK in Nov 2000. He was attempting while walking in the water ride path to get to an emergency exit because he was feeling ill. He was struck by an oncoming boat. He passed away.

I was on the ride about 20 minutes before this yesterday. Man, that ride is in desperate need of some help from maintenance. Half of the animatronics don’t work, including all of the Br’er Rabbit AAs.
