Can you snorkel on adult side of island?? Does anyone have pics from that side? We only saw the family side :)

Yes! Tracey & I snorkeled some over there in September of last year. Is have to go look for the pics but they're in my Sept 2012 report (in my signature). It's not deep so we literally pulled ourselves around with our hands on the bottom most of the time. Not a lot to see but the water was super clear and it was still a lot of fun.

It's insane how far you walk out before it gets deeper than waist deep. And there's no barrier reef out there! So it's always possible to see "other" sea critters out there. We had a giant stingray swim right by us.

As others have said, the water at Serenity Bay is very shallow. You can walk a LOOOOOOOOOOONG way from shore and still only be up to your shoulders. Additionally, the water is very clear and you can see to the bottom very easily. So we generally snorkel at the family beach and just wade around and look down at Serenity Bay.

Thanks everyone!! Sounds like the family side prob best for snorkeling and serenity for chillen out and wading in the ocean. :)
