Still in labor/delivery but still hanging in. Things seem to have calmed down a bit, but seems like everytime I think that something happens.
They are letting me eat so I just ordered breakfast so that's something.
It's just frustrating cuz things can change so quickly w/ no notice. Very difficult for a planner w/ no patience like me. I like to know what's going to happen and be prepared. Welcome to motherhood, I suppose.

Poppy seed chicken, with parmesan noodles and green beans as sides. DH did up all my dishes yesterday, so I told him I'd make him whatever he wanted.
I'm so glad you liked the mushroom soup sandwiches - we love it too (me especially because it's such a quick meal to fix)

This is fun! There is a lady who just started coming to church recently. She is from Columbia I think. She doesn't understand too much English, but enough to get buy. I was thinking about meeting with her and brushing up on my Spanish while she practices her English on me.

For some reason, I always end up remembering which is which from sesame street. I picture Grover or whoever doing the "cerca de.... lejos de...." like he does "near.... far... near....far...." :shrug:

I just get so nervous speaking the language out loud. I used to be fluent... quite literally. But without having to practice it or use it, I barely remember. And I'm MUCH better at wtiring than I am speaking.
