My family's favorites have always been Dole Whips (available at Aloha Isle in MK's Adventureland, and at the Polynesian) and stuffed pretzels (some with cream cheese, some with jalapeno cheese, available at various carts around property).

A great deal is the Chip and Dale trail mix(in a bag). It retails for $6.95 and is a snack option.
All of the Goofy candy is also a snack option.

Goofy's Candy Company in Disney Springs Market Place is a great place to use up extra snack credits! Also if you have checked luggage you could also pick up so edible gifts for Friends & Family back home.

We did this before as we had QS meals left over...even after we treated a couple and a family to meals in DS .....so we were able to get 3 snacks for 1 meal. My son was very popular in class on his return.
The QS is "free" with the 14 day package and I don't think we used it well last time which is why I am asking for loads of ideas to use it this time.

Unfortunately I don't know the secrets to using a DDP (I could never eat enough to use it up) but I'm sure there are folks on here who could help give you some advice on how to better use the plan to your benefit.

We usually have that problem with snacks. In the past, I used to bring breakfast items. This year, I plan to not bring that many and use my snack credits on breakfast items. Sometimes, my son does not want a lunch, but just a snack item or we share a lunch. So, we end up with a few extra QS meals. I use them for a breakfast bounty platter and we all have a breakfast in the hotel room (usually use on a non-park day or day that we are leaving later) as those platters can feed two people based on what you get. This year, we have 70 snacks to use, so it is going to be interesting.

I see that you are from the UK. My father-in-law lives near Manchester and we booked him on Icelandair. Have you ever used this airline before? Usually he flies in on United or Delta.

We flew to Canada from Manchester with Icelandair. All very smooth. Keflavik airport is lovely but pretty expensive for food and drink..though if he's already in Disney price mindset it'll seem normal!

What time of year are you going? I seem to recall that a lot of the food at the food and wine festival counts as a snack credit. This might be true of the other festivals as well. There is a lot to be said for strolling through Epcot eating lots of tiny things.

Also, I flew . Icelandair from Washington DC to Iceland and it was excellent. Smooth flight, good entertainment etc, etc

I like the caramel apples from Germany
If you are eating lunch at BOG, adding one of the desserts on as a snack credit is a good idea. They are very good there. My fave is the cream puff.
Ice cream sundaes from Main Street
Ice cream from Hollywood Scoops I have had sundaes and the cookie sandwiches
Last year Hollywood had funnel cakes that were served with ice cream on top and toppings...the thing was massive and a great use of a snack credit that basically a whole entire family could theoretically share (not saying I did that)
Cinnamon rolls from Gaston's Tavern
And don't forget at Starbucks you can get the largest size drinks as snack credits. Huge frappacinos make an awesome snack credit value.
The cupcakes at Hollywood Starbucks are the ones from the old bakery that used to be at Hollywood. They have some good ones.

THose are some I don't think I saw others mention.

We found using one snack credit in the morning as a breakfast type item was a way to consitantly use snack credits at a time we would be hungry. Not that we necessarily got breakfast items but hey its vacation all rules are off.

We also found that frozen drinks like slushy type thngs and smoothies were something the smaller children in our family liked. If its super hot little ones often don't want to eat a lot but mine liked those refreshing drinks and it helped keep them hydrated. China also has those ice things that are basically snow cones. My children were fans.

I have heard it mentioned in several places before that you can turn 1 QS meal into 3 snack credits. Anyone know for sure if that is true anymore?
