I have heard it mentioned in several places before that you can turn 1 QS meal into 3 snack credits. Anyone know for sure if that is true anymore?

That is true, and it is great for things like Starbucks runs - you can get three coffees and call it a meal. Or you can get 2 drinks and a munchie (or vice-versa).

We had 3 meals (9 credits) and 7 snacks left at the end of our trip - that turned into 16 cookies that we brought home as presents for friends (except for a few that may still be in my freezer...).

This isn't a DDP tip, but we found the popcorn buckets to be a great deal - you pay full price when you buy it (maybe $11 or $12), but you can bring it with you every day and refill it for $2. We did that every day. If you happen to have a stroller, it can hang from the handlebars, which made it easier to find in a crowd.
