More on Stunt Show???
OK, so I didn't notice anyone else mentioning it, but when I went on the backlot tour on Sept. 29, they were running one of the cars into and out of the stadium.
Basically no one in the tour trams was paying attention to the guide (well, he wasn't much to listen to...sorry!) because the car was making such a commotion.
First, you could hear the sucker screaming across the stadium at which point it exited to where the tram loading zone was. When it came screaming into this narrow little area near the tram loading, it would make a serious e-brake turn 180 degrees and come screeching to a stop backwards. The driver would then rev the h3ll out of the engine (ala Fast and the Furious) and go screeching away with that reedy-sounding exhaust screaming.
It repeated this over and over throughout our backlot tour (which, at this point, I had no interest in!).
I'm pretty suprised at how free-moving these stunts are going to be! As compared to the Indiana Jones Stunt Show Spectacular which has primarily mechanical props for all of the major stunts, this show is really gonna have some action!!
I'll try to post pictures when I get back home to the camera. I've only been home for about 6 hours and at work for going on 8...ugh!!
