Small MGM character update.

Just for those who like meeting rarely seen or just somewhat obscure characters....

Since the parade time change at MGM has gone from 5:00 to 3:00 they have been trying out two set times where the characters meet in front of the hat (which are not listed in the times guide). For those who are curious the times are 4:15 and 5:05 and the characters that have been rotating around since last week have included Minnie, Chip, Dale, Goofy, Mulan, Meeko, Pocahontas, Evil Queen, Snow White, Dopey, Jafar, Aladdin, Jasmine, Mary Poppins, Bert, Penguins, Queen of Hearts, Tweedles, White Rabbit, Cruella etc.

As you can tell they have several villains/face characters that are not usually seen. This may be because it's Halloween soon but who knows.

When i was there last week, they had Robin Hood characters out (Prince John and Friar Tuck for certain, there may have been others), as well as the girl chipmunk (Clarice is it?) from that one Chip and Dale cartoon. Definitely not A list characters (not even B list i'd say).

I'm going with the family at the end of Sept for 10 days and am glad to hear there are a few different characters to meet - it keeps things interesting when you can meet characters you haven't met before. I can also be fun when you meet characters in diferent outfits too... I also saw Goofy in a testimonial video on the Evererst web site that had him dressed in an explorer's outfit? Can you find him in AK & get pics of him dressed like this? If so, is it outside Everest?

Anyone know if the CARS characters are still in the MGM parade?

Also does anyone know if you can find Kronk & the Emperor in WDW?

It sounds like they've brought back some form of F! area with these characters appearing at the hat. I'll have to do some checking to confirm that. I'm glad Queen of Hearts is back out on set. She's been very rare at Magic Kingdom and I haven't seen her for awhile. Bert is a good find too. I'll have to be on the lookout for them in October. The Studios cut back alot of the characters especially the ones from parade so I'm glad they've put them back out.

Clarice is sometimes at the Hat, and from the times I've seen her she's drawn a big line and been very popular with guests.

I hope they keep this and it isn't just for the halloween celebration. We are going in Dec. and I love the Evil Queen. In fact that is who I am being for halloween this year(we have a halloween party for the kids). We saw her at DLP and she was great. I don't think I have ever seen the Queen of Hearts out at WDW. We did see her at DLP though. Again, she was great too. She took my daughters book and pen and threw it. The look on my DD's face was hilarious. I wish I had gotten a picture of that. It is great to hear these characters are out and about, I like seeing some different "people".

Clarise could replace Kathy Griffin as Queen of the D list. I had never seen her before last weeks visit to MGM.
