  • Storybook Circus Entrance signage going up ( Has the popcorn lights on it )
  • They have rerouted the walls in Fantasyland. The mine train store is now walled off and you walk between the new castle walls and the rest of the expansion. Your actually walking over the newly installed themed cement which looks just like the themed cement they put in Storybook Circus ( minus the peanuts )

Love the Storybook Circus Entrance sign, can't wait to see that lit up.

Not clear on the walls, can you walk through the entire expansion now, all the way around the mine train past Mermaid to Storybook Circus?

I'm assuming this is for access to Enchanted Tales With Belle? It's really odd for the whole area to be open, if they're not starting soft openings until November. I won't be surprised if the whole area starts opening sooner. I'd expect a lot of soft openings happening soon!

I'd venture to assume they're doing more concrete work now. Perhaps they are making the "within the wall" and "outside the wall" color changes now.

They could also be re-theming the mine store? or at-least re-naming it...

Where do the walls end up on the south side? Do they stop right before The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh?

Is this right? Completely wrong? Red lines? green?
None of the above?
I'm putting too much thought into this...

Wouldn't bells cottage be considered a soft opening already since people are getting previews? Or is that just called previews and not considered a soft opening?

more like preview since it was "right place right time" today...

that's pretty accurate for how it was today. in fact the walls went a little further but the ice cream shop was still open, with like 0 line due to the fact the walls partly hid it...

You are correct where the red lines are. The ice cream shop is still open.

Cool thanks for the pic! Not sure I like the sign just yet, looks like an erector set without being finished yet.
Agreed. I know that they wanted to rush and get Dumbo / Goofy / Train back open, and there were a lot of considerations for construction vehicles to be made back then, but it's really odd to see a half-finished piece of construction hanging out in the middle of the walkway without construction walls around it.
I assume this is "night work" and we'll be seeing this slowly transform from day to day until it is complete.
I do like the actual sign part though, it will just be interesting to see the rest of it all together.

I have a feeling that the storybook circus sign will go up really quickly, I bet they can finish this in a few nights time.

I'm going to guess that the Storybook Circus sign is going to be finished with stretch canvas,
in the manner of older Circuses/Expositions, mounted inside that framework. I think that's
appropriate, and lit well, will be compelling. Just my guess.

I'd classify them as "sneak previews" right now. Random, un-scheduled, right-place-right-time kind of things.
