Small Budget- Best room?

Advice please everyone!

We totally loved our trip to WDW and would like/love to go again next year. Additionally my in-laws and sister in-law went earlier this year with three rather difficult people and did not have a good time so I would like to take them with us. That means that we would have five adults and at least one child. We could have two children with us. So is it better to get a suite type space or to get two rooms? Whichever you think is best what resort do you think would be best for a group of three women, two men and a child?

OK First things first. With booking separate rooms, all of the people in any given room must have the same vacation package at check in in terms of park tickets. So if you, Hubby and son are all in one room, if you want the dining plan, all three of you must have it. If MIL is in a separate room, she can get the amount of tickets she needs for her room, which may or may not be the same as what you have chosen!! However, if you are looking at doing the Free DIning, I will tell you in every year that that particular offer has been made, the requirements to qualify for free Dining were to purchase a room and ticket Magic Your Way Package. If MIL doesnt want the Free Dining Offer she can certainly see if another discount will come out so she wouldnt have to purchase the theme park ticket. I can tell you that this year that particular doscunt came out about 2 months after the Free Dining offer was released. Also there is no guarantee that ANY type of discount will be released or that if it is, that she will be able to get the hotel you have selected. PO French Quarter is typically one of the more difficult ones to get. Hope this helps! Belle

What if my mother in law got the room for a day and a park ticket for each of them for only one day? Would she be able to get the free dining then?

Oh and we would all want to be on the dining plan, hopefully for free *fingers crossed* We went this year and paid for the dining plan and absolutely loved it. It was so much less stress on my husband who flips out over every dollar spent. No flipping out was required because it was already part of the package!

If she booked a one night stay ( I dont believe that can be done, The minimum for a package is three nights for the resort stay at least but go with me for a moment here) She would get the dining plan............ for one night!!!!! Your Dining plan purchase must match the number of nights you are staying at the resort. Your ticket can be adjusted to go up or down as you would like. Belle

I am sorry I meant to say what if she booked her room for a week but only got a one day ticket for everyone in her room? I have no idea why my fingers went wacky on me!
Thanks!
