Size does matter.
Hopefully they're making the castle bigger. It's so small I don't even notice it's there.
Hong Kong's old castle? Did I miss something?
Don't give them ideas. Hong Kong's new castle looks terrible in my opinion. It's overly busy and non-cohesive.
that's what she saidIt's so small I don't even notice it's there.
Well the walls are down around the Castle. Not really what I expected.
I see what they are going for by combining the elements of various Disney movie castles, but the final product just looks clustered. It needs a more consistent color scheme.

See what? The castle? I can see it just fine!Don't let @Chairman Bob see this.

Yes but actually looking nice would be a start. It's a mess.Is that really a problem? This is suppose to be a castle based on fairytales, i would think that anything is possible in a fairytale environment.
Gauche is the word you are looking for.Yes but actually looking nice would be a start. It's a mess.

But you know what makes the castles in Disney fairy tale films work? They look like actual environments where the characters could believably live. This thing for HK looks like a Polly Pocket Princess Glitter Castle Playset. Is that really a problem? Try Maleficent’s tower as a ride like that. Could escape the Disney villains and end up confronting dragon Maleficent. My favorite Disney castle has always been Sir Ector's cruddy, wonderful place from Sword in the Stone:

I think it would make an awesome Mystic Manor style dark ride at DLR.
